A fancy term in the field of fluid mechanics that really just describes the boundary layer momentum thickness. No one really knows what it is, what it does, or how to use it - not even the teacher.

Boy 1: "Wow! look at that momentum thickness"
Teacher: "What is that?!"

This is an expression that means a girl or woman is a little curvey. She might have larger (or thick) thighs, Good ass, and big boobs, but she is not fat or overweight. If you get called this, it’s a good thing.

To be able to last through and handle the good times as well as the bad times. (Usually in the sense of a relationship of sorts). Thick is representative of the good times, whereas thin is representative of the bad times.
