Placing the chosen item in his/her hand, and slapping them in the face with the other. Not to be performed on friends.

Shocker Pick

Sporting the shocker sign + (Ambitious) Nose mining = Shocker Pick. The Shocker Pick is not as easy as the Birdie Pick to master but can be done right with a little practice. With either hand, make the shocker sign. Put your middle and pointer finger up your nose, one in each nostril. Then put your pinkie in your mouth. It's as easy as that. The Shocker Pick is also known as "2 in the boogs, 1 in the loogs".

Always wash your hands before Shocker Pickin'... It's common sense hygiene.

Sob Pick

A sob pick is the last desperate shroom pick before first frost. The harvest usualy provides slim pickings for even the most skilled harvester. The prospect of there being no more crop until next year fills the hunter with woe.

Louie's face was soaked with tears while on his final desperate sob pick. There was no solace in the fact he had a stock pile of dry shrooms to last the year as he had eaten them all.
