Randoseru

Backpacks that kids use in elementary schools in Japan. They are incredidly expensive because they are supposed to last throughout the entire 6 years of elementary schooling. They are made out of leather or synthetic leather-like materials. New leather randoseru can cost 30,000 yen or higher, but if they are made from the synthetic material clarino, the price is lowered.

The traditional colors are red for girls, and black for boys. Randoseru are in demand by anime and manga fans, but few manufacturers produce them outside of Japan.

Man, that randoseru is expensive.

Randoriffia

When a song you haven't heard for a while gets stuck in your head for no apparent reason. It can be an entire song, or a simple lyric or guitar riff. It then plays repetitively in your head to almost no end for a random amount of time. It can be a beloved song, or a loathed song.

It's been ages since I've heard Sir-Mix-A-Lot, but I've been suffering from Randoriffia today. I've been humming "Baby Got Back" and saying "L.A. face with an Oakland booty" non-stop all morning. Now my co-workers are getting concerned.

A user on the GameFAQs forums. Known mostly for the definition given by well known RI user "jimfish" and/or the unusual typo of 'Random', the word because a fad throught the GameFAQs forums especially RI, PoTD, the Pokemon Social Boards, and several other social boards. Users would respond to the fad by posting "RANLOM!" in bold and all caps with nothing else.

What the heck is Ranlom? It is a small hamlet featured in the works of J.R.R Tolkien. It resides some 30 miles south of the Shire. -jimfish
