them's fightin' words

An old-time expression interjected after one is on the receiving end of a harsh criticism. A fight will usually occur as a result.
Northerner: You're a dumbass from the south, and so is your slave beating mother.
Southerner: (draws gun) Them's fightin' words!

Them's the breaks

American/Australian slang. Possibly short for "that is the breakdown". It means "that's just how it is" or "that's how the cookie crumbles".

Sometimes rendered as "dems...", "those...", etc.
A: "Ah, that's not fair!"
B: "Them's the breaks, dude."

Them's good taters

My brother-in-law's favorite expression. He is from Pennsyltucky so it's understandable.
*Through a mouthful of home fries at the diner* "Them's good taters!" Eyes roll.

Them's the breaks

How tory scum summarize years of tyranny suffered at their own gammony hands
So I drop-kicked a disabled person and stole the last £5 from a single mum's purse. Them's the breaks!
