prodtesting

The foolish act of pushing untested software to production environments in order to "test" its functionality.

Similar to the "fuck it, run it" process in the high performance automotive field.
dev: We've got a new, super-awesome version of the gameserver that's going to fix all of our problems.

ops: Ok, let's get that out to QA and test it.

dev: Nah, we're prodtesting this one.

Forward Processing

Handling incoming data communication first and foremost, and distributing it instantly to the hard drive.
Incoming information for a server skips going to the RAM and goes straight to the storage device.

protestantism

Protestantism stemmed from the Reformation. Protestantism at its most basic is the belief in justification by faith alone, the priesthood of all believers, and the supremecy of the bible. There are countless protestant denominations and none of them can agree on anything beyond that. Some Baptists dislike being labeled Protestants and insist that they are christians while some Anglicans define themselves as Anglo-Catholics. Most Protestants are very decent people and are interested in serving God in the best way possible. Unfortunatly, protestantism has been tainted throughout the years by racism, elitism, anti-semetism, and worst of all, violent anti-catholicism.
Protestatism and Catholicism should get along since they are both worshipping the same God.

Blast Processing

1. A fake term made up by Sega to make the SEGA Genesis sound more powerful than it actually was.

protestant

Branch of Christianity. Protestants believe that Jesus is the head of the Church. They reject Papal authority and the percieved excesses of the Catholic church.
Protestants are also remarkably unpopular amongst a great deal of people due to the actions of a small number of them. But in the most part they are simply Christians who wish to worship without a central authority, without a buffer between man and God and without the ritualism of other branches of the faith.
Jack became a Protestant after attending a Church sermon.

There are tensions in Ireland between Catholic and Protestant groups.

Graham dislikes Protestants because he is an Athesist.
