Typically, taxes are a portion of one's income which approaches 100% as one's income increases; however, the rich often find ways to cheat on their taxes. There are different types of taxes, as well, depending on how one makes and spends money. Many neoliberals claim taxes are immoral, even though the Bible itself requires a tithe of a flat 10% and a poll tax of one half-sheqel; I'd like to see these people live starting out with a debt ten times what they currently make and not be allowed to earn income.

Term for "citizen" used by Republicans, who measure citizenship by how much money you make. Note that how much money you make is not proportional to your income, and that under Bush's tax plans, only income you earn yourself (as opposed to dividends and inheritance) is actually taxed.

Supply-siders bitch that the top 20% pay over 40% of the taxes, but the top 10% control over 90% of the wealth.

The first automated spammer, Argic was an AI program which would grep for messages containing "turkey" or "armenia" and then reply about how two and a half million Turks were supposedly killed by Armenians during World War I, even though history remembers it the other way. He would sprinkle in various childish insults like "gum brain" and assume everyone online was Armenian.

"Any recipes for turkey surprise?" "Ask your CRIMINAL Armenian grandparents, gum brain!"
