Single handedly the most fun online game ever. Puts two teams (RED and BLU) of nine unique classes (Scout, Soldier, Heavy, Spy, Pyro, Sniper, Engineer, Demoman, and Medic) against each other. A sequel to the Quake mod Team Fortress (released as a standalone game called Team Fortress Classic), TF2 (as it is commonly abbreviated) was originally announced in 1998 for a '99 release. However, as Valve is prone to doing (see Valve Time), development of the game was stopped and started repeatedly for nine years until 2006, when the current version of the game was unveiled at E3 an While the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions are very fun, the PC/Mac version is the best, as it is often updated to include new maps, game modes, weapons, and accessories.

Get the Team Fortress 2mug. The day after Thanksgiving and official start of the Christmas shopping season. When stores open anytime in between midnight and 5 AM and set everything on sale. To promote the sale, a mass amount of advertising is used, causing everyone to forget their is a month until Christmas so they go to hell and back to get all their holiday shopping out of the way one day not even in the month of the holiday.
I haven't slept in almost 50 hours because my mom shoved us all in the car immediately after Thanksgiving dinner and made us go to Black Friday sales all damn day.

Get the Black Fridaymug. Term applying to combat games. When your computer-cotrolled opponent is almost impossible to hurt because they are using defense (or any method to avoid harm) at least 93% of the time. Almost certain to turn a terrific victory into a frustrating (and-if other people are present-humiliating) defeat.
I had a great run in Mortal Kombat until Johnny Cage started using overdefense and cost me everything.

Get the Overdefensemug. An Alternative Rock/Britpop band active from 1991 to 2009, fronted by brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. Hit the big time in 1995 with the album "(What's the Story) Morning glory" and the song "Wonderwall". Other good songs include "Supersonic", "Champagne Supernova", and "The Shock of the lightning". Sadly, brotherly love wasn't always present in the band, and the last few years became less about music and more about Liam and Noel trying to one up each other (though their last album, 2008's "Dig out your soul" was pretty good), which lead to the band's breakup in Fall 2009. Noel started his own project while the other members and Liam started the band Beady Eye.

Get the Oasismug. A freaking hilarious 1996 movie based on the MTV animated series Beavis and Butthead. The plot of the film finds the duo looking for their stolen TV and, in doing so, becoming involved in the plot of two crooks and end up becoming "the most dangerous men in America".
Mike Judge, who also is the creator of the series, naturally voices the duo (among other series regulars) in the film, while guest voices for the film include Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Robert Stack, Cloris Leachman, Greg Kinnear, and David Letterman (though he was credited under a different name). The film's soundtrack includes music from White Zombie, Isaac Hayes, Rancid, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and AC/DC.

Get the Hiatusmug. An intresting piece of art in Berwyn, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago). Completed in 1989, it featured 8 cars on a giant metal stake with a purple Volkswagon Beetle on the top. The sculpture gained national attention when it was featured in the 1992 film Wayne's World.
In 2007 the stripmall/plaza where the Spindle was located decided to tear it down to build a new Walgreen's pharmacy (replacing the already existing one due to the fact it lacked a drive-thru), even though there were other multiple locations to put it (they could've just simply made one out of the store's abandoned liqour section). Protests kept the demolition of it at bay for months until May 2, 2008 when the sculpture came down. The Walgreen's was completed in 2009, upsetting many residents because the Walgreen's final location did not enroach where the Spindle once stood.

I was able to get a picture of the spindle before it was destroyed because this nation is just too obese and can't walk a few yards to pick up there medicine.
