Heart

The kind of courage you get from having options and not being backed in a corner or with your back against the wall with no realistic options.
The girl didn't have the heart to run that guy off, if she had any heart she'd be looking at the guy she wanted to run off instead of eyes darting around the room looking for someone, anyone to swiftly come and help try to run the guy off for her (while making themself look like they were just defending her honor, though she held nothing sacred enough to have any honor or honor anything herself).

cultlike

What human behavior has morphed into since spring 2020, where people that have gotten vaccines and wear masks (and done everything else they are told to because they are told that they have no right to do anything else without losing everything) are told by their leaders (whom they never question) that people that have not gotten vaccines or are not wearing masks are their enemies and that they think they are special.
Cultlike behavior has become what some of the cult leaders would call "the new normal" even though there never really was an old normal to reference. If someone wasn't dysfunctional rather than normal before, there are those of us that won't trust them now any more than we did before the pandemic. That kid that shot up his school was normal, it's the normal ones you gotta watch.

No

A word some of us have been saying a lot longer than the last year, and it won't stop because of being outnumbered by the ones that say yes to everything.
The dork girl had him confused with a yes man, and thought that him saying no was a fashionable trend or a phase for him.

Tribe

Athletes don't need people they might think they need at times, they got as far as they did by doing what they did, and it took them and their teammates to get them there. Trust in their teammates might help them regain their trust of themselves, if they feel like they need help from an outside source. A tight group, a tribe is enough to get somebody through something.
A tribe can keep you going at times you get a little mixed up.

Special

Saying that nobody is special is a half truth. Either nobody is special or everybody is special, from infant to terminally ill elderly people. The reality is people can still do things to make themselves unwelcome, and nobody has to accept or permit/allow anything or anyone in particular.
There is no all inclusive truth about whether people are special or not, or whether everyone is welcome or not. It will always be based on an individual basis by someone's actions and not on the way they look on the surface that determines whether they are welcome or not, or whether they do something special or not, and that won't change.

Pawns

The chess piece thought by some to be the most unwitting, though in reality nobody has to keep playing.
Derek Chauvin, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, the guy that killed him, these were all pawns in the female Jim Jones's game, much like the people that stampeded those folks at the concert, and the police stampeded anything that resembles civil rights. Despite calling it social justice, it was never anything more than a bunch of people dying for no reason, if you called it what it really was.

Giannis

No matter what he says or pretends to be, Milwaukeeans know that Giannis is an outsider in their city.
It's great that Giannis brought a championship to Milwaukee, but Milwaukeeans have done more for their beloved Milwaukee.
