royal flush

Can refer to either of two "throne-based" occurrences:
(A) An embarrassing event which causes red-cheeked humiliation ("flushing") to The Crown, such as Charles and Diana's rocky/brief marriage after such a lavish/heavily-hyped wedding, their subsequent affairs, and Di's suspicious/untimely death.
(B) A humongous porcelain-bowl rinsing with abnormally-copious floods of H-2-0; it involves filling two or more buckets or other sizable vessels with water, raising the toilet-seat and removing the tank-cover, and then recruiting one or more assistants with strong muscles (AND strong **stomachs**!) so that you can then both hold the toilet's handle down and quickly pour additional water into the tank and down the bowl at the same time, creating a massive torrential swirly that is far more voluminous and longer-lasting than usual. This extreme measure can indeed be **sometimes** effective for clearing a plugged toilet-drain, but it can also messily "backfire" (i.e., send filthy stinky water cascading out in all directions) if the clog decides to be extra-stubborn --- user-discretion is strongly advised. Use of liquid/gel drain-opener is not recommended here, either, in case of said "backlash", since the errant drain-opener can cause severe burns and/or property damage.
My toddler-nephews love to spool off yards of tissue and toss it down the crapper when they come to visit, and so the wife and I are always obliged to give the guest-room toilet a royal flush after they leave.

National "Do Not Call" List abuser

Similar to the infamous "reverse identity theft" strategy that a dishonest/selfish person uses in an attempt to avoid responsibility/prosecution for a crime that he did indeed commit, this type of sleazeball irrelevantly mentions the National "Do Not Call" Registry anytime he wishes to avoid having to deal with business/complaints which the local authorities or other 100%-legitimate parties have phoned him about and are attempting to discuss with him.
A National "Do Not Call" List abuser pretends that he honestly believes that any caller whom he doesn't want to talk to (cops, angry neighbors/businessmen, bill/tax-collectors, etc.) is just a nameless telemarketer in disguise, and who is merely posing as the real authority-figure who actually **is** needing to discuss some urgent/serious matter with him. This "Excuse me, but I don't believe that you're really ___; I suspect that you're just claiming that in an attempt to sell me something or pressure me into listening to your long-winded/hard-sell sales-pitch. I am on the National 'Do Not Call' list; please remove my name from your mailing-list" strategy can often be surprisingly effective, especially since many telemarketers and crank-callers actually **do** falsely identify themselves as a wronged individual or authority-figure in an attempt to compel the person whom they call to listen to them and/or be upset/intimidated, and so it is indeed conceivable that someone might automatically suspect that the unwelcome caller was merely an impersonator, especially if the person answering the phone had supposedly been of innocent mind and therefore had not expected to be contacted by anyone in authority.

two-party check

The careful "consulting all people involved" verification that you'd jolly-well better perform before you accept any paper financial-instrument from anyone, especially if the document is "signed over" to you by the document's original payee!
Performing a two-party check is vital to maintain your financial integrity, not only because you might not get paid, but also because you could get hit with a returned-check fee and other legal hassles if the check is either drawn on an account with insufficient finds or is written without the account-owner's authorization.

tempera tantrum

Refers to a noisy/voluminous outburst of frazzled-nerved emotion involving watercolors, either emanating from a creator/observer of a messy spill/soiling involving said paint, or the resulting preposterous canvas-creation (think, abstract art) when the "genius painter" supposedly experiences a "creative epiphany" and totally "goes wild" with his colors in an effort to supposedly illustrate his inspirations, emotions, Heavenly-based vision, etc.
Old-school art-critic: I can't believe that the TV auction actually sold that hideous tempera tantrum for several million dollars --- first of all, who in his right mind would even WANT that confusing monstrosity slapped up on his parlor-wall to stare at night and day, anyway?? And second, why should anyone want to actually BUY something like that, when it's nothing special and exhibits absolutely zero talent? Why, I'm no artist, but I could easily create something like that myself in under five minutes just by splashing some paint around and callin' it good! Zheeeeeesh....!!

missileaneous

Clarence Boddicker asks if he can have access to missileaneous weaponry to hunt down Robocop; Dick Jones smirkingly answers that OCP "practically IS the military", and thus he can provide any super-powerful explosive devices that Clarence desires.

Howard Hues

The infamous super-successful mid-20th-century eccentric painter who really loved his colors. His father, Howard Hews, made his own fortune from designing heavy-duty truck-mudflaps.

Trumpany

"The Donald' and his assorted henchmen who are bringing this country down --- i.e., "Trump & Co."
If Trumpany has its way, we won't even BE a country worth sneezin' at in a few years.
