DATK

Slang for "Dead At The Keyboard" or "Die At The Keyboard." Usually used when a player goes AFK at an inopportune moment.

I nearly won my last match, but unfortunately the other three guys on my team decided to DATK.

Taking shots 

1. Firing with a rifle or some other firearm.
2. Knocking back small glasses of liquor or some other alcoholic beverage.
3. Insulting someone.
4. Being shot in order to protect someone.

1. The sniper started taking shots at us with his rifle.
2. We were at the bar all night taking shots of whiskey.
3. That jerk kept taking shots at me.
4. The peacekeepers put themselves between the civilians, taking shots for the sake of peace.

Plot Sword 

A character being killed in an anticlimactic way because the plot demands it. The polar opposite of plot armor, where a character survives despite all odds because the plot demands it. Also known as dropped a bridge on him.

Person 1: How did a horde of rotting corpses manage to take out an army of heavily armed soldiers?
