The colloquial term used to mean football, obviously since tackling is an integral part of the game.

"Good, I'm glad you babies enjoy tackle football, because I'm giving you each a tackle!" Coach Stillman told Robert and Hayden.

Didn't you have your Wheaties?

Used to ask why somebody is not working as hard as they should, inspired by the fact that the cereal of the name is supposed to help one build big strong muscles. Coaches especially like to ask this of their players, when their players are not practicing nearly hard enough.

"Didn't you have your Wheaties?" Coach Egan asked of David and Greg,who were horsing around during football practice. "You're supposed to be practicing and putting lots of effort into it! No horsing around!"

Ten-hut!

The common exclamation used to mean “Stand at attention!” or colloquially, “Atten—TION!” used mainly by drill sergeants or sometimes even gym squad leaders.

Ten-hut! exclaimed gym squad leader Nathan, thereby making lazy squad mates Robert and Hayden stand at attention as they were preparing for gym class.

ABC's

The basics of something,or all the reasons for something,told in full detail from A to Z.

Here are the ABC's as to why I hate bullfighting and why I think Spain,Mexico,and other countries should ban it:
A-it's awful
B-it's bad(and so,Bleah! to it)
C-matadors are cowards and cruel
D-the sport is disgusting,dreadful,and dumb
E-matadors are evildoers
F-the sport is frightful
G-it's gruesome
H-it's horrible
I-matadors are ignorant,inhuman,and inhumane
J-they're jerks
K-they're killers(naturally!)
L-they're losers,and their sport is lousy
M-they're monsters
N-they're nasty,and they're nothings
O-the sport is offensive
P-matadors are pinheads
Q-the sport attracts quislings
R-it's rotten and matadors are rude
S-it's sickening,silly,and stupid
T-it's terrible
U-it's ugly and ungodly
V-matadors are villians
W-it's the worst sport I've ever heard of
X-it adds to my xenophobia
Y-it's yucky
Z-matadors are big zeroes.
And that is the ABC's of my reasons for hating bullfighting and why I think it should be outlawed,period,from A to Z.

That's the way it is

Used to mean that nothing can be done about a particular condition,because it just has to be that way and one just has to live with it.

Kenny,Kevin,Uriah,Harun,Hayden,Harvey,Jason,Jim,Jamie,Matt,Robert,Bill,Tom,and Elliott may only wear ball caps and winter jackets. It's plain they all would rather wear impressive headgear and overcoats, but they can't, and that's the way it is.

yellow head

A bald fellow, or a fellow content to go bareheaded. So called because such fellows are regarded as looking yellow, or cowardly.

Baldy Detective Kojak is quite the yellow head!

Tom, Jim, Jamie, Matt, Matt, Robert, Hayden, Harun, Harvey, David, Greg, Uriah, Bill, Kenny, Fargo, Theo, Lincoln and Herman are all yellow heads; none of them ever wear a hat, no matter how cold it is.

Hwhy?

Used as a way of letting the one spoken to that they’re simply wasting their time. Saying why like this also has a way of provoking them.

Jake: “Hey, Ben, would you like to trade your seven cupcakes for my six cuppycakes?”

Ben:“Hwhy?”
Jake:(provoked)”Because I hate having only six cuppycakes!”
