One of the coolest modern Animes out there today. The plot is your basic zombie survival fiction; a group of people (in this case five high school students, a nurse, and later a young girl and a dog) band together to escape a sudden zombie infestation. This series also focuses on issues like trust, love, and the downfall of everyone's worlds.
Yes the series does have a heavy amount of Fanservice, but that doesn't take away from the fact it's a terrific, well written series. There are currently seven volumes of manga and twelve episodes. It's unclear at this time if and when the series will continue.

Highschool of the dead mixes horror, drama, and humor in a plot that seems incapable of disappointing people.

Get the Highschool of the deadmug. A fictional organization from the alternate reality game to the Nine Inch Nails Album Year Zero. The purpose of the Bureau is to keep citizens in line and make sure they aren't doing anything they consider "un-american" such as expressing dissapointment with the government. Extreme punishments are handed down to people who do break their laws and use their voice.

A person, often an adult in their 40s or 50s, who resides in any suburb of a major city and holds the firm belief everything they and their family need is in their suburb and others surrounding it and rarely, if ever, venture into the core city, either out of fear of being a victim of a crime (even if they live near a city with low crime rates) or out of contempt for the cities mostly liberal/open-minded view points that clash with their staunch conservative ideas.
Militant suburbanites are not very common in communities within 15 miles of the core city and make up less than half a metro area's population, but they are not common to spot, as they feel the need to conform to whatever their neighbors and/or coworkers are doing. Militant Suburbanites that do venture into the city usually tend to stick to the most crowded areas of the city and will avoid any form of public transportation.

A document distributed by Clear Channel communications to their radio stations following the 9/11 attacks, giving a list of songs that should not be played due to "questionable lyrics". Songs included were "Bodies" by Drowning Pool, "The End" by The Doors, "Rooster" by Alice in Chains, and the entire catalouge of songs by Rage Against the Machine. The list was really more a way for Clear Channel to continue pirating the airwaves by using a horrible tragedy as an excuse to not play songs they don't like. Unsuprisingly Clear Channel denied such a memo existed.

Email service/search engine/news site (sort of) that does fairly good with the e-mail and search engine parts but is either passing some stupid story about a worthless celebrity either wearing something they consider weird off as news. When they do talk about real news, the comments section is always filled with republican nutjobs who have no idea what they're talking about.

Get the yahoo!mug. Legendary Classic Rock band, a major staple of Hard Rock, with a small touch of Heavy Metal (you seriously expect me to believe "Thunderstruck" isn't Metal?). Lead by the powerful guitar work of Angus Young with the raw, powerful vocals of Brian Johnson (Bon Scott was the leader of the band until his death in 1980 from alcohol poisoning (or something like it)).
