Usually features nice architecture, brick walkways, chic lighting, and water features. Highly popular in upscale suburban/urbane areas in the Sunbelt and increasingly in the Midwest.

Get the lifestyle centermug. Among the Top 10 largest malls in North America. Woodfield Mall is located in Schaumburg, IL and is a focal point for activity in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. It's not just any mall, since most people mention it by name rather than "the mall."

Famous for its small town charm, cows, outlet mall, gazebo, dairy mart, high school mascot controversey, and the largest age 55+ golf course community in the Midwest. Went from a population of 5,000 in 2000 to an estimated 20,000 in 2005.
