The leftover residue of lip gloss. Often times happens after sleeping with a fresh coat of lip gloss. Is taken care of with a swipe of a finger. Was reffered to in the first book of gossip girl.

Serena Van Der Woodsen woke up and swiped off her lip gloss scum which accumulated over night.
