A Zendere is a person who simps over a character in their life named "Zen" or a with a name close to "Zen". They usually claim to be 'in-love' with said "Zen", without any backup proof.

The term first came from the popular song made by Not literally. The song was sadly unnamed and showed to an audience of 10k on Youtube for 4 hours before it disappeared.

A zendere is a person who is a simp for someone who’s name is (or is similar to) zen. This zen could be a real or fake person and they are typically very hot.
