A slammin', and yes, jammin' treat in Italian-American culture. The almighty ZEPPOLE is a round ball of fried dough covered in sugared powder. Served by charming vendors during the Feast of San Gennaro in New York City, you can also find them in select pizzerias, mostly in the NY/NJ metro area.
