Usually a black male that desires black men and women to adhere to traditional gender roles (male = leader and provider/female = follower and homemaker). This ideology clashes with contemporary progressive feminist views on body image and relationships (specifically male/female gender roles in a heterosexual relationship). The ideology also combats the apparent double standards many Black women have for the Black men they desire to be in a relationship with.

Woketerr encompasses far-left extremism via looting, destruction of businesses and property, and assaults on political rivals/opponents. Woketerr enthusiasts come from priveleged backgrounds and advocate political violence due to mental instability.

In 2020, select minority of BLM and mainly Antifa destroyed businesses/assaulted people as they exemplified Woketerr tactics to harm their political rivals/ opposing ideologies like Capitalism.
