Adjective, for someone who is WILLfully IGnorant.

The difference between stupidity and (normal) ignorance is that ignorance is banished by knowledge, but stupidity is forever. A willig person blurs the distinction; he actively resist any input that contradicts his worldview.

Whenever someone says that "Evolution is JUST a theory", I immediately recognize he is willig, and change the subject -- or sneak away.
