A town in Alabama with the name meaning "rumbling waters" in indian. The movie "Big Fish" was filmed there and they are proud of it. If you ever want to visit, pack a small suitcase because you won't want to stay long.

Guy 1: Hey man, wanna go down to the Rock Bottom Bar?
Guy 2: Nah, that place is a Wetumpka. 2 minutes after I get there I feel like I wanna leave.

Punishing someone for a good deed.

Origin is the town of Wetumpka, Alabama, where an 84 year old and 61 year old women were arrested and prosecuted for feeding, trapping and neutering the stray cat population.

The priest was in the park feeding the homeless when the cops pulled a Wetumpka and threw him in jail.
