Swingin' Dick
Refers literally to a man, but specifically to someone whose skills or physical stature make him especially intimidating. A badass. Can be used metaphorically to refer to a woman, as long as she is a total badass at something.
There is a common misconception that this term refers to any male because it references the male organ, but the more important part of the term is "swingin'." That is, not just any man, but an especially potent or imposing man. Hence, a badass.

Military term used to describe any man able to walk. If you were walking your dick was swinging hence the correlation. Particularly remembered from the American/Vietnam conflict.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
