stoopervisor

Can refer to either:
(1) someone who monitors how people squat down, or
(2) anyone who watches others engaged in da planning, construction, maintenance, etc. of porches.
In da Amos 'n' Andy episode "Porch Wreckers", da infamous mix-up over WHICH wooden landing was supposed to be demolished might have been avoided altogether if da clueless axe-and-crowbar-wielding dudes had been assigned a proper stoopervisor!

soupervisor

An authority-figure --- such as a parent, older sibling/relative, school aide, etc. --- whose job it is to see that you "finish your stewed vegetables like a good little boy".
I'm all for insisting that a child "eat healthy", but I totally disapprove of a soupervisor who uses preposterous scare-tactics (like saying that the youngster's arms and legs will shrivel up and disappear if he doesn't eat his vegetables, or that Lucifer Himself will suddenly appear out of a blazing ball of fire and brimstone to devour him) in an attempt to scare said frail vulnerable pint-size into finishing his food.

scoopervisor

Someone who keeps an eye on how much material is inside of a "digging in and lifting" device each time it does its thing.
Scoopervisors are super-important staffpeople to have around, in dat they monitor things like whether a customer is being given full shovel-loads of earth, how much ice cream each child is getting, etc. They could also be pretty vital at a newspaper or radio/TV station, in dat they should see to it dat their reporters have up-to-da-minute access to breaking stories around da local community.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
