skid buffer

A old or worn pair of underwear worn under a nice new pair to prevent skid marks on the new pair.

Example 1:
Yeah, I wear two pairs of underwear. One as a skid buffer.

Example 2:
Randy: What's up, Mike?
Mike: I've got the shits today.
Randy: You better use a skid buffer.
Mike: Good call.
