An “Australian” saying thought by other countries to be commonly used. Problems with this is that Australians call them prawns, and they don’t even cook prawns on a barbecue.

To place a peice of meat, normally a nice prawn, on a barbecue. Used as a common saying in Australia.
Bloke 1. "Oi mate, chuck another shrimp on the barby im bloody hungry"
Bloke 2. "No worries cobber...ah shit, the barbys cactus mate, she aint gona cook to well on ere, we'll have to get the backup barby out mate."
