Noun. A steampunk term for those rare persons who have the gift of creating beautiful handwriting without the aid of an electronic device, i.e. lettering, script or calligraphy.
1. The people were amazed at the way the gifted scriptorian penned the poem.

2. Handwriting is no longer taught in many schools, so in the future, there will be fewer scriptorians.

3. The bride hired a scriptorian to create beautiful signage for her wedding reception.
