schmunzeln 

A german word for a smile that is a mix between giggeling and a broad smile.

Its a feeling of amusement about a particular situation that could be funny or ironic. Most likely one has a similar memory of the situation happening to one self.

Its not a smirk not a smile nor is it with negative intent . More like to wonder about the absurd. With a inner giggle.

Verb: to mingle, hobknob, or network with people you find unsavory in order to further your own goals.
Noun: one who mingles, hobknobs, or networks with people with people they find unsavory in order to further their own goals.

Sidenote: a schmooze is a type of schmutzel, however, a schmutzel is not a schmooze.

Robert knew that if he was going to get a documentary about his gay father green lighted, he'd have to really schmutzel the execs at HBO.

Schmutzelig

'Schmutzelig' is een vernederlandsing van het Duitse woord 'Schmutzig' wat 'vies' betekend.
In het Nederlands kan het goor, ongemakkelijk of opwindend.

De hoeveelheid stof die op de kast lag was echt schmutzelig.
Die situatie was gewoon echt schmutzelig.
Gozer die slebba heeft één schmutzelige akka.
