A retromodernist is a sophisticated, cosmopolitan, urbane, modern person, with a keen eye for late 20th century design.

There are many people selling late 20th century design both in Europe and the USA. They can be defined as retromodernists.

Sports design that experiments using classic tropes into a modern uniform.

Usually modern designs made to look from a surent time period.

Example; nhl winter classic, using throwbacks uniforms

Hockey teams playing the winter classic would use retro modernism to create their uniform for the big game.
