I saw a brand new bike sitting outside of someone's house. I re-purposed it for use at my house.

To hoard, or refuse to part with something despite it being old/broken/in disrepair, found outside someone's house.

"Look at this coffee table I made out of stacked pallets and old thread spools I re-purposed! Isn't it funky?!"

Repurposing 

Yeah, I don't know what to tell you Sam. That's like the central theme of their whole religion. They just cannibalize the guy who's better than everyone. It's their whole thing. That atheist guy did a speech about it. Andrew Smith? I think that's his name. This is that.

Hym "Yeah, I can't stop them from repurposing my thing Sam. That- It's... Their entire religion just does that. That's their ultimate technique. That's literally what the entire religion is for. They take the best detractors who are the most effective and are better than everyone (sorry other Sam), cannibalize or repurpose their ideas, use it to try and convert more followers, and then they do the Eldian euthanasia plan from Attack on Titan and try just out-breed any detractor groups. I wasn't joking when I said I'm too much better. This is what happens when that. Like- I, there's nothing I can do from inside the cage."
