Ravenglass 

Similar to the looking glass from Alice in Wonderland, a ravenglass shows the world through the perception of a Dark Romantic; instead of looking at a fantastic world of impossibilities and wonderful creatures, one sees instead the darker, more meloncholy side of humanity. Where the looking glass leads to wonderland expressed by Lewis Carrol, the ravenglass leads into a world more predominantly envisioned by Edgar Allan Poe and other writers, not wonderful, but woeful.

Even though he tried to see things positively, he couldn't help but see the world through a ravenglass, with all the wars, hatred, and corruption, he believed humanity was beyond hope.

Small English North West coast Village, who’s inbred inhabitants lumber around woodenly, knuckles carving great gouges in the dirt at the side of the pavement. Ravenglass attracts Healthcare workers to live amongst the inhabitants as a kind of observation experiment.

Ravenglass has an over abundance of railways and historical local features that make it almost worth the risk of visiting.
