A word that can now be used to mark a particularly horrible mistake, such as messing up the lyrics to the national anthem of the United States before a major sporting event that is being viewed by hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
The word "ramparts" was specifically chosen in reference to the line of the United States national anthem that was fumbled by Christina Aguilera during her performance at Super Bowl XLV on February 6th, 2011.
