Attractive/affluent ladies may indeed sometimes have trouble with psiriasis, but da total opposite can just as likely be da case, as well --- i.e., likeable guys can get "sorely" aggravated by one or more persistent **female** suitors. Da Beethoven-loving "Peanuts" cartoon-character Schroeder has dis very problem wif da obnoxious-but-love-struck Lucy Van Pelt --- "Do you know what Beethoven never had?! Beethoven never had girls hanging onto his piano and bugging him about romance, marriage, and Valentine's Day gifts!" Lucy: "He DIDN'T...?! Poor Beethoven!"

A skin condition that looks like and makes you feel like shit.

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disorder caused by overactive T-cells. It makes afflicted areas of skin red and covered with white scales. It's usually most common on the elbows, scalp, knees, and anywhere where there is more skin turnover (when skin cells are dying and being regenerated more than usual).

There are variations on psoriasis, including guttate psoriasis, which is more widespread and appears sort of like random spots of grossness. There's also versions that make your skin appear burned, or even in pus-filled pustules that make psoriasis suck even more.

Passerby: Dude..... What happened to your arm?

Poor Psoriasis-afflicted person: Nothing. It's psoriasis.

Passerby: Oh, I'm sorry... Wait... What's psoriasis?

Poor Psoriasis-afflicted person: Like cancer on the outside of your body, only it won't kill you.

Psoriasis (sore-I-ah-sis) is a common immune-mediated chronic skin disease that comes in different forms and varying levels of severity. Most researchers now conclude that it is related to the immune system (psoriasis is often called an "immune-mediated" disorder).

It is not contagious. In general, it is a condition that is frequently found on the knees, elbows, scalp, hands, feet or lower back. Many treatments are available to help manage its symptoms. More than 4.5 million adults in the United States have it.

It generally appears as patches of raised red skin covered by a flaky white buildup. In certain kinds of psoriasis, it also has a pimple-ish (pustular psoriasis) or burned (erythrodermic) appearance.

Between 10 percent and 30 percent of people with psoriasis also develop a related form of arthritis, called psoriatic (sore-ee-AA-tic) arthritis.

Psoriasis 

An auto immune disease where the skin inflames, becomes itchy and grows white/red patches on the whole body but most commonly on the skul. You either inherit it or it's chronic. It's believed that it can never go away once you have it but you can keep it under control with medicines and creams.

The doctors said I have psoriasis and I need to use all these creams on my legs :(
