Protesting

What's the point of going out and protesting, when you end up on your knees at the end of it, when all is said and done?
Protesting is a waste of time that could be spent waking up and fighting, or at least going to work.

Protesting

Protesting doesn't really do anything, it's always going to end up being someone other than the protestors in charge at the end of the day, and that person is always going to try and calm them. What's the point? It's a waste of everyone's time and nothing changes.
The people in charge along with everybody who is not in charge and also not part of the protests laugh at protestors. At least everybody not protesting is getting something accomplished that day, or those days (and nights).

Protesting Hillary

"Hey bro, can i get in the bathroom? I need to get to class"

"Can it wait 5 minutes? I'm protesting Hillary"

Peaceful Protesting

What liberals call burning down buildings and rioting in the streets over a person dying who happened to be black

Peaceful Protesting

Used euphemistically by both political spectrums to describe a flowers and cookies protest against a variety of social issues but in reality it's an excuse to be non-peaceful, riot, obstruct and dissent against public opinion.
Look at all those Canadians doing their Peaceful Protesting against vaccine mandates as they assault homeless shelters, dance and desecrate war memorials, blast airhorns constantly and take dumps on people's lawns. Good thing it's peaceful so no one gets hurt or has to take responsibility.

home Protesting

protesting at a home football game against something you do not want to happen like the board and the manager staying and avoiding the sack or leaving the club so that is why fans protest at the home games
home protesting including the chants "we want our club back"

Backseat Protesting

The act of making a "call for action", usually online, while not putting forth any effort towards their cause. Ironically, expressing anger towards others for not bringing their torches and pitchforks while they sleep
Dude, we're not angry enough! Why aren't we doing anything about this??

Why aren't you? Stop backseat protesting online and go get a real hobby or something.

Coyote Ugly

1. Place

The Bar came before the movie. It is an awesome bar where the girls know how to party and make you feel okay about giving up your money, drawers, bras, and dignity.

2. Movie

A story about a Jersey girl following her dreams, aided by working at this bar in New York.

3. Situation/Person/Decision

See other definitions - waking up next to someone so ugly you'd rather chew your arm off than wake them up.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
