Comes from the term masturbation or wank. A poshey is known to man as a wank whilst wearing a condom, This is can also known as a posh wank. It is believed to be used my blokes who are sensitive, dont like cleaning up after themselves, and those who just preferbeing hygenic and safe. Or even those or a different orientation. If you intend to have a wank with a condom on make sure it is of a good quality and correctly applied, reading the instructions is always advised; otherise it may just split.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
