pickmys 

Pickmys are armys (apparently) who seek and beg for other Kpop fandoms and sometimes locals' acceptance, attention and validation by either throwing armys under the bus or by unnecessarily apologising on Army’s behalf to other Kpop fandoms or locals. Pickmys usually use sentences that start with either “as an army” or/and “I am an army but” or sentences that include “and this is coming from an army”. Some pickmys like to verbally (or via written/typed words) separate themselves from the rest of the fandom to show that they aren’t “like the others". You’ll notice that some of them often say things like "Armys are so toxic” or "this fandom is the worst” and disregard the fact that there is more than 20 million armys and that statistics disprove those claims that they make. Some pickmys go as far as throwing BTS under the bus for validation. Another name for pickmys is apologists.
