parent alienation

"The term your parents would of used describe one or the other in court or a fight"

signs of this include (with bits of my experience added btw):

- him/her telling their child that the other him/her is a bad person for the mistakes that person did not mean to do
- him/her talks mad shit to their other him/her behind their back
- him/her prevents their child from talking to their other parent (him/her, whatever)
- him/her taking advantage of court and stripping them away from their other (him/her) parent
and the list goes on. now i'm sadly one of the ppl that go thru this and from what i can tell, it can be "Very" unfair.
*a fight happens between dad and the child*

me: i can't keep doing this shit anymore!!!!!
dad: what are you gonna do? you gonna go cry to ur mummy??
me: this is not about her you dumbass, pls for the love of god, STFU!!!
dad: whatever, go cry to ur mummy then

*i walk away from my dad and to my bedroom*

me(in head): imma call my mom to vent out on snapchat
*calls*
mom(on phone): hey sweetheart :)
me(also on phone): hey mom, dad is at it again :(
mom(on phone): WHAT!?!?!
me(on phone): yea, he's been talking mad shit to you behind ur back
mom(on phone): see? this is what "parent alienation" is!
me(on phone): ikr?
mom(on phone): and now ur turning back on (him/her)
me(on phone): right????

In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.

Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.

A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.
"Shit...the sales director chewed me out on the sales call this morning. He's totally pissed that I have nothing in my pipeline. I've been focused on this one whale for so long that I haven't had time to prospect for normal-sized deals."

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.
