plajority

The largest group, if the group is less than half of the whole. If the group is more than half of the whole, then they are the majority. If the group is not the largest, and less than half, then they are a/the minority.

The plajority of the senate (about 48%) were for the bill, while the minority of the senate (about 45%) were against. The others (about 7%) were undecided.
