night jar 

A jar kept under one's bed and used as a toilet during the night; also know as a chamber pot. Usually used in reference to farting, or other bad smells.

As the smell of Bob's fart slowly spread throughout the first class cabin, the passenger in the seat next to him said disgustedly, "who opened the night jar?"
