The process of writing for the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) writing contest in the month of November to write 50,000 words. Nanoing is the term used for the writing of the novel usually in 1667 word increments each day to keep on track for the 50,000 word minimum at the 30 day deadline.

"Nano", meaning a millionth and "tango", well it's a dance obviously.
