Kandake (Kantake, Kendake, or Candace) was the name for queens and Queen mothers of the ancient Afrikan kingdom of Kush, also known as Nubia and Ethiopia.
1). The Nubian people's Kandake made war on the Roman governor of Egypt.
2). The people's Kandake is above all women in countenance and strength of character.
