To renege on an agreement. While this phrase is derived from the stereotype of the shrewd Jewish businessperson, it is used more broadly to describe the behavior of anyone who engages in artifice. This phrase is considered inappropriate for polite company because of its divisive origin.

A person who'd for example be a cheapskate, could be:

1. Claims he cannot contribute to his friends (drinking at a bar, everyone contributing to buy something expensive, etc.)

2. Tries to cheapskate his way into everything (not always) expensive.

John: "Abraham is such a shit friend he jew'd out like a pussy"

Mike: "Let me guess 'Forgot' to contribute again?
