Jesus clip

A retaining ring sometimes called a spring clip, cerclip, c-clip or e-clip. Used to retain pins, gears, bearings, and other mechanical devices. Often referred to as a Jesus clip, because they inevitably fly over your shoulder leading to the exclamation "Jesus, where did it go?"

Be careful with that Jesus clip, when it goes flying, only God knows where it comes back down.
