a dissociative state one goes into after mindlessly clicking links on the internet for so long that you are now entranced by and unable to break free from the internet's seemingly endless amount of related information.

When you stay up late at night on the internet, browsing random topics that lead you from one site to another, until you wind up in some weird part of the web.

Last Saturday night, I ended up in a Internet rabbit hole due to going from one site to the next.

Internet black hole 

When you get on the internet to do one little thing that won't take long, but then you see a link to something interesting, then something else, and before you know it you've spent three hours on your computer.

I meant to check my email then do some chores, but my email had Myspace updates and new videos on Hulu. I got sucked into an internet black hole.
