IJGB SCAM

Young men who just got back to Nigeria from overseas (mostly during Christmas), who often use the phrase "I Just Got Back". They initiate romantic engagements with local women from September onwards, employing gestures like frequent communication, feigned affection, financial support, and promises of commitment, including the allure of potential international relocation. Regrettably, the ulterior motive appears to be a calculated effort to secure these women as decent sexual partners for the duration of their stay in Nigeria. Upon their departure, a distinct pattern emerges—some abruptly sever ties, while others gradually withdraw to avoid suspicion. This cycle may repeat itself the following year.
Girl 1: He seemed genuinely interested and even brought up the idea of marriage at one point. I'm baffled as to what went wrong that he suddenly stopped communicating after returning.

Girl 2: Relax, my friend. You simply fell prey to the IJGB Scam.
