An acronym for "Internet Gaming Entertainment," a company notorious for selling gaming currency and items to MMORPG players that are willing to spend their real money for it.

The people that actually earn this money in-game are generally in some form of debt or poverty (but oddly enough, they can afford to buy the computer or console on which the game is played). They almost never speak to the other players and are almost always seen in large crowds trying to take advantage of something that gives a lot of in-game money. They detract from the fun and experience of the game and bring us to the harsh reality that a wonderful game, no matter how wonderful, is just a collection of 0s and 1s designed to entertain the human race and nothing more.

Needless to say, big-name companies like Square Enix need to put these people out of business already. It's becoming rediculous seeing gilsellers swarming great games left and right trying to feed their starving families by taking advantage of the laziness and stupidity of other people.
Those gilsellers on Final Fantasy XI never say a word and you can always find them all huddled around a single body of water while trying to fish out of it.

Metaphoric “lubeless fisting” to accept or receive distinct actions that one knows is hurtful to the person but willfully accepts as part of one’s duties, responsibility, or honor to the larger situation.
It was hard and dirty work but in the end I was IGE’d for the benefit to the larger public.

An internet site that sells Gold and Silver, the virtual currencies of World of Warcraft, for US Dollars, the real currency of the United States of America. Also known as a huge ripoff, also known as a boon for spoiled WoW noobs who want to buy armor that that's recommended for players twice their level.

However, if you're an avid World of Warcraft player that's near or at the level cap, you can sell gold to IGE for real money, and potentially offset the $14 a month you pay for the game itself. Get rich quick.

IGE also trades in the currencies from other games, although nobody plays Everquest or FFO anyways, so it's not really notable.

More from Urban Dictionary
West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
