A posh 'hello', most commonly used to greet people at the door... Very common phrase in Southern England and the Midlands. Can also be used as a 'Thank you and see you again soon' however this is not so common...

Just went out to tea with my family... Just had a quick Hod-Hod with the dog before we left...
