Hoar Frost

A deposit of interlocking ice crystals (hoar crystals) formed by direct sublimation on objects, usually those of small diameter freely exposed to the air, which surface is sufficiently cooled, mostly by nocturnal radiation, to cause the direct sublimation of the water vapor contained in the ambient air.

Hoar Frost on tree branches, plant stems and leaf edges, wires, poles, etc.

Means the same as, "post whore", but spelled the way some people spell the word, "whore".
A post hoar often simply posts one- or two-word posts or posts consisting of nothing more than an emoticon, often for the sole purpose of incrementing their post count on online BBSs or fora (the correct pluralisation of the word, "forums").

Jane is such a post hoar on Facebook; the douchenoozle posts one- or two-word posts like fifty times a day.

Depth Hoar 

Depth Hoar is a type of snow crystal also known as TG snow. Depth Hoar forms a layer in the snowpack that acts like ball bearings on the floor of a old folks home. Chances are, some poor bastard is gonna get taken down. Depth Hoar is the weak layer and fails under both natural and manmade triggers such as skiers, snowboarders, snowmobilers and explosives.

Ski Patrollers have been overheard referring to TG snow as depth whore; nasty, sloppy, unreliable long-term and above all, costly.

The Depth Hoar that formed early this ski season is gonna come back and bite us in the ass if we don't blast the shit outta it.

This season's Depth Hoar created some of the worst avalanche conditions we've seen in a long time.

Myspace Hoar Blitz 

This is a term that describes the way that certain internet forums will locate a random whore (here on out known as "hoar") and they will all harrass her myspace page by means of altering her pictures and or inviting her to participate in lude sexual acts by way of rearranging her refrigerator magnets. Upon completion of said harrassment, participants are then required to post up thier contributions to be judged/admired by thier peers. This term was originated on honda-tech.com and many hoars were harrassed mercilessly.

Is this thread going to stay on topic or will it just become another myspace hoar blitz.
