Hesitext

Erasing a message before sending while iMessaging and the person on the other end sees that you composed a message then deleted it. The assumption can be made that you filtered your thoughts.

Before Hesitext: If we're not hooking up, I dont want to sleep over. :hesitext: ... (pause)

After Hesitext: Want to cuddle and watch a movie at your place?

When an in person conversation is delayed due to sudden cell phone use, commonly from receiving a text

Anna: did you see the video I posted?

Adam : yeah I was going to...(receives texts and starts to reply)

Anna: that's the second time you hesitexted me today already, it's rude.

Adam: I'm sorry sis.
