hehi

When someone hears about some random story from a friend and expresses mild happiness/surprise/excitement/agreement/acknowledgement.

Also used in a lower, monotonous tone to express discomfort.

Friend: 'I just watched the new GoT episode.'
You: 'Hehi, when did you start watching the series?!'

Friend: 'I want to die.'
You: 'Hehi, same.'

Friend: 'I found out I have no food at home'
You: 'Hehi, rip.'

Friend: 'Let's go to the park'
You: 'Hehi, I just want to die'

Friend: 'I have work tomorrow'
You: 'Hehi'
