A goal that will require setting different stages and sub-goals in order to hit. This is a goal that cannot be hit with a one-off action such as quitting a certain thing or changing a certain part of your diet. Typically, this is something associated with training or practice to get to, such as sports or business achievements with multiple barriers between you and doing it. Often times, goals fail because they are goalmines and not singular goals.

Unlike many goals which require single-handed changes such as a change to a diet, water intake, or so forth, a goal mine will require many stages and subgoals to achieve it. These are typically goals that require training, practice, or long-term work.

For one to hit this goal, they have to mine around it in different ways. For one who wants to run a marathon for example, they might have to change their diet, their water intake, their coffee intake, their outfits, their endurance, how they breath, their shoes, and so much more.
