In poker: Betting out discontinuously after taking a passive action on the previous street. Can be used as a noun or verb.

You have AA on a ragged board of 2 7 J all of different suits. Turn is a 3 of the fourth suit. Suddenly your opponent bets into you for no apparent reason after calling on the last two streets. You have just been gaybet.

A poker term, mainly used in Texas Hold'em. (noun) A bet made on the turn or river (fourth or fifth street) with almost no value in to a large field of opponents.

Betting AK on a flop of Q 9 4, getting four calls, and then betting out again when the turn is a 7.
