fubarite
Fubarite is a name for any rock that has been severely brecciated (i.e. smashed up), metamorphosed (i.e. baked and/or squashed), weathered, moved, or any combination thereof, to the point that it is difficult or impossible to determine what it is or was. Essentially, it is fubar, hence the name.
The term is believe to originate from the University of Cambridge's Department of Earth Sciences, and an example can be found in the North Glen Sannox on the Isle of Arran, Scotland.
Fubarite is not a term recommended for use in formal geological literature or maps.

An expression when you think you've waited long enough or tried long enough to accomplish something and you finally get what you want. Originally a typo, some UK based people felt the need to continue the use of the word in broader contexts. Nowadays it is used beyond its purpose in an effort to take the piss out of those who still manage to accidentally mistype in this fashion.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
